Our Story

Horizon Educational Foundation was founded in 2012 by a group of educators and community leaders who recognized that too many children were being left behind by a system that lacked the resources to reach them. What started as a small after-school tutoring program has grown into a comprehensive educational foundation serving thousands of students each year.

Over the past decade, we have expanded from a single classroom to partnerships with 85 schools across 48 communities. Our programs now span early literacy, STEM education, scholarships, and teacher professional development.

We believe that education is not a privilege but a fundamental right. Every child, regardless of their economic background, deserves access to quality learning experiences that prepare them for a future full of possibility.
